Cover-up and correction of old tattoos
An old, faded or badly executed tattoo is not a life sentence. In most cases it can be covered with a new design, and quite often a full cover-up is not even necessary — adding depth, saturation and a new background is enough to turn the piece into something you want to show again.
What we need to start: a clear photo of the existing tattoo in daylight, ideally with something for scale, and a note on how old it is. From that we can say whether a cover-up, a rework or a partial correction makes more sense, how dark the new design will have to be, and how many sessions it will take.
Cover-ups follow their own rules — the new design is usually larger and more contrast-heavy than the old one, and some colours limit the palette. We explain those limits honestly before you book, so there are no surprises during the session.
